Percona Partners with SoftInstigate to Support Customers Using MongoDB
Raleigh, NC – February 1, 2021 —Percona, a leader in open source database software and services, today announced that it has partnered with SoftInstigate, an independent services company that supports cloud and application migrations for customers that choose to run MongoDB, including Percona’s Distribution for MongoDB, across their applications. As more companies choose to move to cloud and serverless applications, SoftInstigate and Percona will work together to help those companies make the most of open source MongoDB.
SoftInstigate is the developer of RESTHeart, a data API product that makes it simple to deploy applications running on cloud and serverless platforms and then connect to MongoDB database instances. Using RESTHeart, developers can access MongoDB through a REST API (starting from the upcoming 6.0 release, also a GraphQL API) securely and serve data and content to mobile applications and a range of application frameworks including Angular, React and Vue.
Customers can use RESTHeart alongside Percona Distribution for MongoDB to run their applications and enterprise-class functionality around security, authentication, audit, backup and availability. Percona Distribution for MongoDB provides open source MongoDB Community Edition alongside the best open source MongoDB tools available for management and reliability in one distribution and without an expensive price tag.
