ProxySQL is a flexible, fast and highly configurable piece of software that provides dramatic improvement to your cluster and high availability (HA) architecture. The presentation will discuss how to deploy ProxySQL in support of architectures using standard master/slave, Percona XtraDB Cluster/MySQL-Galera or MHA solutions. The presentation discusses details on: - ProxySQL host group - Using balancing and failover on standard master/slave - Integration with MHA - Integration with PXC/Galera - Sharding by hint Attendees will learn the best way to include ProxySQL to expand their high availability solutions

Marco Tusa had his own international practice for the past twenty seven years. His experience and expertise are in a wide variety of information technology and information management fields of application and cover research, development, analysis, quality control, project management and team management. Marco has move back to Percona in March 2016 as Manager HA, after being Principal consultant for Pythian for a brief period and manager of the Consulting Rapid Response Team in Percona from October 2013. Marco Tusa has moved from Italy to Ottawa in 2011 and had being working at Pythian as Cluster Technical Leader for the MySQL technology until September 2013. He has being working as employee the SUN Microsystems as MySQL Professional Service manager for South Europe., and previously in MySQL AB. He has worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation since 1994, leading the development of the Organization’s hyper textual environment.Team leader for the FAO corporate database support.
