FitX Selects Percona Support for MySQL Upgrades and Optimizations

Percona is happy to announce that FitX, a Germany-based fitness chain currently operating 85 studios in-country, has engaged Percona Support to help with its MySQL optimization and upgrade needs.

Preparing for growth

With some of its administrators being familiar with Percona services, and having occasionally requested support in the past, FitX selected Percona at the beginning of the year for operational advice and support of its MySQL databases. FitX is receiving assistance in updating its existing systems and migrating to new versions as it prepares to open an additional seven studios by the end of the year, with more to come in the future.

In addition to the studio expansion, the company is focused on developing digital products for training and support of members.
