Yves Trudeau has over 20 years of experience as a consultant specializing in database software development and Linux high availability. Principal architect with Percona since 2009, he previously worked with MySQL and Sun Microsystems. Along with a focus on database high availability, he also has a strong interest on all aspects related to scalability and distributed systems. Past experiences include DBA work on SQL Server, Oracle, MaxDB and MySQL and programming in C/C++, Python, PHP, Perl, Java and Go. Yves has a Ph. D. degree in experimental Physics from Université de Sherbrooke.
