Percona Live London 2012: Percona XtraDB Cluster in a nutshell

On Monday I will deliver with Seppo Jaakola from Codership a tutorial on Percona XtraDB Cluster (Percona Server + Galera).

Already in London and you don’t know how to consume the hotel’s bandwidth ? If you attend this tutorial, you can download the Virtual Box appliance we will use during the session.

Two versions are available:

PLUK 2012 Appliance (32-bit)

PLUK 2012 Appliance (64-bit)

How to test them:

Open the downloaded file with Virtual Box

Install all 3 machines

Boot them all 3.

Login on one of them (root / vagrant) and ping the other machines (eg. ping node2)

If it works you are already setup for Monday afternoon.

Thanks for this great tutorial. It really helped me understand Percona XtraDB Cluser together with Galera. Can you post the slides when you get a chance so that we can try to complete the last few exercises that we missed?
