Running PostgreSQL on Kubernetes

Running databases in Kubernetes attracts a lot of attention today. Orсhestration of PostgreSQL on Kubernetes is no way a straightforward process. Kubernetes has known as a platform that was built around the idea that everything can fail at any time. In this talk, we will review approaches that guaranty consistency on failover and do automatic promotions of new Primary, switchover traffic, perform updates, automate backups and simplify monitoring.
