Speaker Guidelines:

Do you have an OpenStack use case to share, a skill to teach, or a big idea to share? We invite you to submit your speaking proposal for either breakout or tutorial sessions. This is your chance to put your ideas, case studies, best practices, and technical knowledge in front of an intelligent, engaged audience of OpenStack users. If selected as a speaker by our Conference Committee, you will receive a complimentary full conference pass.

Breakout session submissions should be detailed to clearly indicate the topic and content of your proposal for the Conference Committee. Sessions will be 50 minutes in length including Q&A.

Tutorial session submissions should be detailed and include an agenda for review by the Conference Committee. Tutorial sessions should present immediate and practical applications of in-depth OpenStack knowledge. They should be presented at a level between a training class and a conference breakout session. Attendees are expected to have their laptops to work through detailed and potentially hands-on presentations. Tutorials will be 3 hours in length including Q&A. If you would like to submit your proposal as a full day tutorial, 6 hours in length, please indicate this in your submission.

Suggested Topics:

We are particularly interested in proposals that fit into the following likely conference topic areas:

  • High Availability
  • Monitoring Tools
  • OpenStack User Stories
  • Operations
  • Performance Optimization
  • Replication and Backup
  • Trove
