Data in the Cloud- What You Don't Know Can Hurt You
12 November 09:15am - 09:45am
MySQL is practically a standard for managing data in the cloud. But what are the real risks of managing data there? How do you manage risks when you don't even know what they are? In this keynote we'll illustrate how cloud data management problems divide into the classic buckets of known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns. MySQL users can use this classification to build more robust systems. The MySQL community is already responding with better management tools designed to keep our favorite DBMS relevant for decades to come.
