During his career, both as a system administrator and a performance engineer, Aurimas has become familiar with many different technologies and how to apply them. He always knows the right tools for the task. In addition to MySQL performance optimization, his key areas of expertise include: MySQL High Availability, full text search, web and content cache servers, and MySQL data recovery. In life, Aurimas's primary role is that of a father and a husband. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and taking photos in the wilderness surrounding his home-based office in Vilnius, Lithuania. He also enjoys playing piano or guitar to his favorite audience - his family.
