Development lead / manager at MySQL, has been working on the MySQL Document Store project since its inception, including the server plugin, the new MySQL Shell and other exciting things yet to come. He has been part of the MySQL family for over a decade and was previously in the MySQL GUI Tools team, having written code and leading development of products like MySQL Administrator, Query Browser and Workbench. Even before joining MySQL, he has always been involved with OpenSource, having worked in Brazilian Linux company Conectiva and writing Window Maker, a Linux graphical interface, as a pet project.
