Description

ProxySQL is an open source proxy for MySQL able to provide HA and high performance with no changes in the application, using several built-in features and integration with clustering software. It is the only proxy for MySQL that scales to the point of supporting hundreds of thousands of concurrent clients and thousands of servers. Some of its features include: - on-the-fly rewrite of queries - caching reads outside the database server - load balancing, connection pooling and multiplexing - complex query routing and read/write split - real time statistics and monitoring - High Availability and Scalability - Seamless failover - Query throttling, timeout and firewall - integration with clustering solution like MHA for planned and/or automatic failover; - support for master-slave setups (MySQL replication) or multi-masters (NDB or Galera) .
