Biography:

Eric Ferreira started on databases 26 years ago in Brazil. Joined Amazon in 2003 and helped redesign the Data Warehouse Oracle Hardware platform. He then Joined AWS to bring new engines to RDS and finally started Cookie Monster: a new BI engine that became Amazon Redshift. My expertise is Databases, Performance Tuning, Distributed Systems.
