Percona Server for MongoDB 4.0.18-11 is an enhanced, open source, and highly-scalable database that is a fully-compatible, drop-in replacement for MongoDB 4.0.18 Community Edition. It supports MongoDB 4.0.18 protocols and drivers.
Improvements¶
PSMDB-165: LDAP Authorization. Starting from release 4.0.18-11, Percona Server for MongoDB supports LDAP Authorization.
This feature has been supported in MongoDB 4.0 Enterprise since its version 3.4.
Note the following limitations of LDAP Authorization in Percona Server for MongoDB:
- The LDAP connection pool and all related parameters are not supported.
- The ldapTimeoutMS parameter is ignored.
- The ldapUserCacheInvalidationInterval parameter is ignored.
- The –ldapServers option may only contain a single server (MongoDB 4.0 Enterprise accepts a comma-separated list).
See our documentation for more information about how External Authentication is supported in Percona Server for MongoDB.
