HP, the newest Diamond Plus conference sponsor, joins additional new conference sponsors GenieDB, GreenSQL, DaniWeb, Software Developer’s Journal, and Web and PHP Magazine.
I’m pleased to announce that one day passes are now available for the Percona Live MySQL Conference. If you don’t have time or budget to attend the entire conference, you can come for just a portion. Early Bird registration rates are available for regular conference passes (and for the new one day passes) until February 24 so don’t delay, register now!
Birds of a Feather (BOF) sessions at the Percona Live MySQL Conference enable attendees with interests in the same project or topic to come together to discuss their common topic. BOFs can be organized for individual projects or broader topics such as best practices, open data, or standards. Any attendee or conference speaker can propose and moderate a BOF at the conference. The deadline for BOF submissions is February 24.
Lightning Talks at the Percona Live MySQL Conference provide an opportunity for community members to take the big stage to propose, explain, exhort, or rant on any MySQL-related topic for five minutes. Their topic might be a new idea, successful project, cautionary story, quick tip, or demonstration. Submissions will be reviewed and the top 10 will present during the one-hour Lightning Talks session during the Wednesday night Community Networking Reception. Lighthearted or otherwise entertaining submissions are highly welcome. The deadline for submitting a Lightning Talk topic is February 24.
