  • Greeting Peter,

My name is Jean and I’m a certified MySQL DBA that works here in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for a large Intelligence agency. I’ve been a MySQL DBA for 10 years. I recently saw that Percona Live is coming to NYC in May. I’m was excited because that’s only a brief 3 hour train ride vs. a 6 hour flight. I wanted to registered before today’s deadline of 30 April. However, when I went to register at 9:30PM EDT, the discount was closed.

I’m going to registered, but I was wondering if I Percona would honor the Early Bird Discount for me since it is still within the deadline. I’m an independent consultant at the DoD agency at Ft. Meade and must pay for this and all related expenses, myself. Plus, Congress has made life quite difficult these past 6 months!

Thank you again for travelling to the East Coast. I know Percona just hosted a training session in downtown DC; perhaps one day Percona can come to Columbia, MD for training. Columbia is between Baltimore & DC and is not far from BWI airport. … Just a little sales pitch. :-)

Thank you very much and I’m really looking forward to meeting the great team at Percona.

    Jean Hudec
