Percona is looking for a data explorer to help the PMM team create attractive and informative dashboards. You will be working with modern products like Prometheus and Grafana. You will work together with top technology experts in database performance to improve and create new dashboards. You will work on problems and ideas from our experts and should be able to find data and present it in dashboards.
You should be ready to go deeper into some Go code and write complicated PromSQL requests. We are seeking knowledge of databases (open source preferred), monitoring, and statistics will be very helpful.

- Graduate-level written English.
- Comfortable at the Linux command line.
- Go lang basics.
- Docker, AMI, OVF.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Consul.
- Familiarity with related technologies (MySQL, MongoDB, web apps, and etc.).
- Knowledge of SQL, PromQL, math and statistics.
- Ability to work with others in a team (we are highly team oriented in a virtual environment).
- Ability to work remotely and independently.
- Highly-motivated self-starter data explorer!
Intern/Part-Time: Around up to 20 hours per week.
HQ is in Raleigh, NC. Staff members should be available if there is a need for any onsite trainings and/or events at any time.
