Speaker Biography: 
Grant has worked in the IT field for over 20 years, as a CTO, enterprise architect, product manager, and DBA, specialising in global-scale systems design, development and performance. He is a frequent speaker at industry and academic conferences, on topics such as database technologies like Oracle and MySQL, data mining, content management, disruptive innovation, cloud platforms, and Android mobile development. Grant works for Google, and in his spare time authors books such as Oracle SQL Recipes, and Beginning Android 4.
