    I'd like to submit some plugins such as:

    Check for tables approaching max int for an auto_increment.
    Check for cardinality.
    Security mysql.user table checks ('%' hosts, no password etc)

    I'm sure the community would be very happy to have additional plugins - have you tried submitting via Launchpad? https://launchpad.net/percona-monitoring-plugins
