    Hi Guys,

    We are currently using 5.5.21-55 Percona Server and run into performance issue which appears to be described in the following bug

    We were wondering if the latest Percona 5.5 release (5.5.27) includes the patch as described in the above bug post?

    Hi,

    That bug is already fixed in MySQL 5.5.25 version so I guess, in Percona Server 5.5.27 you should not get that performance issue. Still, I'll test it and update over here.

      Hi, I have tested it on Percona Server 5.5.27 and looks like above bug is fixed.

        Hello Nil,

        Thank you so much for pointing this out.

        Do you have any idea what is the safest way to ugprade from 5.5.21 to 5.5.27? We are using the RPM packaged RHEL5?

        We have not done any Percona server upgrades yet.
