  • Playback against multiple databases

Reading the documentation it appears it is possible to only use playback against a single database. Am I reading that correctly? If not how does one replay logs where the are transactions against multiple databases? If this is true are there plans to extend the capabilities of playback to handle transactions against more than one database.

    Thanks
    Graham

In the documentation "database" refers to a whole MySQL instance. You can log all queries from a MySQL instance to the slow log and then reply them on another MySQL Server. That's what the documentation actually says, but I have to admit that is not 100% clear

The tool will just read the queries on that slow log (or tcpdump) and execute them.
