since
upgrade from percona-xtrabackup 2.0.7-552.precise
to 2.1.2-611.precise (Ubuntu 12.04)
the user and password are no longer read from ~/.my.cnf
Now I get the following error:
ERROR: Failed to connect to MySQL server: DBI connect(';mysql_read_default_file=/etc/mysql/multi-mysql.cnf;mysql_read_default_group=xtrabackup;mysq l_socket=/var/run/mysqld/mysqld2.sock','',...) failed: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) at /usr/bin/innobackupex line 1384
The user and password are defined in the [client] section. If I enter the --user and --password at the command-line it runs OK.

Hello Scott, gmouse,
I have a very small requirement, Please advice me on how can i achieve the same.
As i have stated below, i need to know connection statistics between my web server to my DB server Per day,
and i need the same stats either to be stored on the server or mailed to me on daily basis.
10.222.1.201 -- Web Server
10.222.1.218 -- Percona MySQL server
Is there any such script that i can use to get my connection stats?
Please suggest.
Thank you

I've been reading about TokuDB and wondering whether it would work within PXC. I understand the recovery log is still not working, but I'm not sure that would prevent Galera replication. Are there any plans to do a (presumably experimental) PXC build including TokuDB?
