Best option in this case is to order less hours and we can structure work so you will need less our time to reach your goals but will have to spend more time of your own. We also may be able to get you some discount in some cases, just do not expect it to be major one.

We will be able to give you a better hourly rate on long term contracts on in case you bulk pre-pay number of hours in advance.

Full time DBA may be hard to schedule and may be expensive. However we frequently able to do what you would expect from MySQL DBA remotely and taking a lot less billable hours.
