The online messaging accounts route to our operations manager on duty (aka Support Shift Captain).

The telephone number provides additional redundancy. First, it routes to our operations manager. Second, it rings into a pool of on-call consultants. Third, it gives instructions to reach a live backup operator.

Telephone routing may take 3 to 5 minutes to complete. You might even wake up someone at night, so please use it only for a true emergency. We use Voice Over IP technology, though occasionally this causes poor quality connections. Speak clearly and slowly.
