Percona distinguishes between standard and emergency consulting, based on scheduling and nature of the work.

What Is Standard Consulting?

Any task first scheduled with Percona more than three full business days (> 72 hours) before you need work to start is a standard task. For details on how to schedule tasks see here.

When Does Work Start for Standard Tasks?

It begins at the time mutually agreed to between you and Percona. If needed it continues at later times mutually agreed to.

What Do Standard Tasks Cost?

For most tasks scheduled in advance, Percona's Standard rate of $300 per hour applies.

However some exceptions exist. Even for tasks scheduled in advance, Premium rates may nevertheless apply for: All data recovery tasks; All MySQL Cluster tasks; Advanced tasks done personally by our most senior consultants; and Tasks performed on weekends or major holidays.
