April Percona Live MySQL Conference and Expo in Santa Clara Hailed as “Best MySQL Event in Years”

Percona Issues Call for Participation for Percona Live New York 2012, Slated for Oct. 1-2

San Francisco, CA – April 18, 2012 – Percona LLC the company that makes MySQL faster and more reliable, today commented on the success of its Percona Live MySQL Conference and Expo, which took place at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara and Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif., April 10-12, 2012. With sponsorship and speakers from some of the world’s most admired brands, including Diamond Sponsors HP, Amazon Web Services, McAfee, Clustrix, and Akiban and additional sponsors Craigslist, Facebook, Google, and many more, the conference was enthusiastically received by more than 1,000 attendees, many of whom praised the breadth and caliber of the sessions. Percona today also issued a Call for Participation for Percona Live New York 2012, which will take place Oct. 1-2, 2012 at Sentry Centers 730 Third Avenue in New York City. The deadline for submitting papers is May 14, 2012.
