Ricardo is an experienced, highly motivated and goal-oriented business developer. He joined Percona in November 2011 with the mission of developing our business in the Latin American Market.

Prior to Percona he worked, among others, for Sefarad Consulting - doing business development in Iberia and Latin American on behalf of Israeli technology firms; Elka Pieterman - assisting this Dutch/German company, that supplies small household appliances, to enter the Portuguese and Spanish market through all the major wholesale chains, and Portugal Telecom - where he was a Project Manager in charge of the Building Control Systems at the Facilities Management Department.

On a personal level Ricardo was Born in Mozambique, raised in Brazil, lived in the Middle East and UK where he has done his Management studies in Warwick and at The Open University. Nowadays he is based in Lisbon, Portugal, with wife, daughter of 11 and son of 2.
