Mauricio Stekl

Mauricio is a passionate web developer with great experience on the LAMP stack. He joined Percona in June 2011 as a webmaster and is in charge of developing and managing Percona's web properties and blogs.

Prior to joining Percona, Mauricio worked for a variety of companies as a web developer. In 2006 he co-founded a company mainly dedicated to outsourcing software development. A few years later he sold it and went back to what he loves the most: writing code.

Mauricio was born and grew up in Uruguay. Mauricio and his wife currently live in a quiet town outside Montevideo with their dog. When not working, he enjoys shooting photos, learning new things and watching basketball.
