Dave Hildebrandt

Director of Training

Dave Hildebrandt, PhD is Percona's Director of Training. Prior to joining Percona, Dave designed training programs for IBM and Sun Microsystems. Most recently Dave worked with firms to leverage the power of mobile learning to improve employee training. In a previous life, Dave founded his own systems integration company that specialized in high technology manufacturing. Being an old programmer at heart, Dave has worked with many languages and databases over the years. His passion is understanding the use of technology to improve education and sees tremendous potentail in mobile and social learning. When Dave is not busy with training design he enjoys investigating methods for improving online education.

Dave lives in Napa Valley with his wife of 19-years, two lovely children, their dog, and his mother-in-law. He can often be found enjoying the fruit of Napa Valley with friends and family.
