Andrey Orsoev

Andrey is a software engineer with five years of experience in C++ and PHP. He works as member of Percona's internal development team, which maintains 24x7 support of all the company's business-important applications.

He has a strong background in modern high-load technologies (e.g., client-side and server-side optimization, node.js, Memcached and SphinxSE), Linux, and software architecture development. Prior to joining Percona, he worked at several high-load projects that experienced quick growth of their user communities.

Andrey was born in Ulan-Ude, Russia. He graduated from Novosibirsk State Technical University in 2006. He likes to do outdoor activities such as paintball and laser tag.
